25. Fee & Refund

A. WeTelWorld fee Structure:

  • Creating an account is free for free-event participation.
  • However, we charge a fixed fee to list a paid-event and to buy/sell paid tickets or registrations.

These fees may vary based on individual agreements between us and certain Organizers. In some cases, Organizers may determine whether these fees will be passed along to Consumers and shown as “Fees” on the applicable event page or absorbed into the ticket or registration price and paid by the Organizer out of ticket and registration gross proceeds. The fees charged to Consumers may include other charges, including facility fees, royalties, taxes, processing fees, and fulfillment fees. This means that the fees paid by Consumers for an event are not necessarily the same as those charged by us to the applicable Organizer or the standard fees described on the Services to Organizers. In addition, some fees are meant to defray costs incurred by us, but may in some cases include an element of profit and in some cases include an element of loss. We do not control (and cannot disclose) fees levied by your bank and/or credit card company, including fees for purchasing tickets and registrations in foreign currencies or from foreign persons. Be sure to check with your bank or credit card company prior to purchasing to understand all applicable fees, credit card surcharges, and currency conversion rates.

B. Refund Requests.

  • Consumers requesting a refund should contact the Organizer. Consumers must not use a ticket that has been refunded, and Organizers must not accept invalid tickets.
  • Once the Ticket is purchased online through WeTelWorld can not be returned or money can not be refund back.
  • WeTelWorld will not be liable for refunds under any circumstances OTHER THEN cancellation of event due to any reason.
  • We do not accept any liability in relationship to the contractual relationship between Event Organizer and the Customer.
  • Event Organizer must submit event cancellation request on the Admin-Account at WeTelWorld portal and allowing WeTelWorld to refund ticket payments back to the ticket buyers.
  • Submission of online event cancellation request would send an email to the ticket buyers, information and confirming the event cancellation from the Event Organizer.
  • Ticket buyers/customers can send an online request by filling online form with their bank details and Identification proof for the refund of payment.
  • In case of event cancellation, WeTelWorld will refund all the money collected through Ticket Selling to the ticket buyers/customers, and after that any refund and dispute settlement shall remain between the Event Organiser and the ticket buyer. WeTelWorld shall never be responsible to end customer or any ticket buyers in any circumstances.

C. In case of refund, WeTelWorld shall refund only 70% of the ticket/booking/payment value, as

      30% will be deducted by WeTelWorld as processing fee. WeTelWorld reserves the right to retain up

     to 30% of the refunded transaction value to cover its ticketing service fee including the administration

     and operational costs, ticket issuance, delivery costs, and any bank charges or payment gateway fees

     incurred in processing the initial purchase and the refund.

D. Customers are eligible to apply for a refund in writing to WeTelWorld in the case of cancelled or postponed Events, within 24h of the date of the announcement that the Event is postponed or cancelled, in the following circumstances only:

3.If the main Artist fails to perform or is incapable of performing;

4.If the main Artist performs for significantly less time than the advertised expected duration of their performance;

5.If the main Artist moves the performance to a different date;

6.If the start or end time of the Event is moved significantly, this being a move in time of at least four hours or more from that originally published;

7.If the Event is postponed for any reason. In the case of postponement Customers may be offered the option to use their original ticket for a re-scheduled date for the event, or may, in the case of Events with multiple performances be offered the opportunity to exchange their original Ticket for a Ticket of similar value and similar seating quality for another performance on a different day. This is the only instance where Customers may be offered the option to exchange Tickets.

E. If the venue of the event is changed to a location significantly different to the original venue location. For a change of venue to be a justifiable reason for a refund, the new venue would have to be at least 40km away from the original venue or the new venue to be of significantly lower quality in terms of services, amenities and ambience than the original venue.

F. If the event organizer is absconding or out of reach.

  1. If you are a Consumer and you receive a refund for your ticket, you will discard the ticket and will not

use it (or any copy of it) to attend the event. Violation of this is fraud.

  1. We will not be liable under any circumstances for any costs arising from Organizers’ non-compliance with the procedures that must be implemented by Organizers to check the validity of tickets. We will not be liable under any circumstances for costs and/or damage arising from ticket-related fraud and/or the purchase of the ticket through non-official means, such as third parties.
  2. 26. WeTelWorld sells Tickets on behalf of Promoters who are responsible for the Event organization and management. Once purchased Tickets cannot be exchanged or transferred in any circumstances.
  3. It is the Customer’s responsibility to check whether there are any restrictions placed on entry to the Event, such as age restrictions or dress code restrictions, before purchasing a Ticket from the Website. WeTelWorld will not be held liable and will not refund the Ticket purchase if entry to the Event is declined by the Promoter for any reason including, but not limited to, failure to meet the dress code, failure to meet age restrictions, dangerous, disruptive, unruly or unlawful behavior resulting in the Promoter or venue management declining entry. The Promoter and the venue management reserve the right to refuse admission at any time without giving cause or reason. WeTelWorld does not offer refunds to any Customer refused entry to the Event or who is ejected from the Event for any reason.
  4. WeTelWorld will consider applications for refunds based only on the above-mentioned circumstances detailed in points and may request specific documentation or other evidence in support of any such requests.
  5. If WeTelWorld, at its sole discretion, accepts the request for a refund, then the refund will be issued via the same method that the original payment was made. If payment was made by credit or debit card, then the refund will be made to the same credit or debit card used for the original purchase.
  6. Minor changes in performance times or performance durations will not be considered justifiable reasons to issue a refund.

26. Other General Terms

1.Changes to supporting artists will not be considered a justifiable reason to issue a refund.

2.Performance quality, technical issues, or the Customer not enjoying the performance will not be considered justifiable reasons to issue a refund.

3.Abandonment of an Event once it has started due to any reason including but not limited to weather conditions, earthquake, fire, flood, death, acts of God, war, insurrection, strike, lockout, failure in power supply, action of a governmental body or any other acts of force majeure not reasonably within the control of the Promoter will not be considered justifiable reasons to issue a refund.

4.Tickets purchased on the Website are non-refundable except for in the limited circumstances described below in the Refunds Policy.

5.Tickets cannot be exchanged in any circumstances.

6.It is the responsibility of Customers to protect their tickets from loss or theft. WeTelWorld is not responsible for replacement of lost or stolen Tickets, and does not issue refunds for lost or stolen Tickets. This applies to electronically issued Tickets as well as printed Tickets. In the event a Customer’s electronic Ticket is copied/stolen (e.g. via hacked email, or through delivery to a shared email address) and the Ticket is used and scanned before the Customer enters the Event, the Customer will be refused entry as the Ticket will have been cancelled at the time of first use. No refund will be offered to the Customer in this case.

7.Customers are strongly advised to protect their electronic Tickets with the same caution and care they would protect a physical printed Ticket from theft.

8.In most cases payment in full for the Ticket is made at the time of purchase, and the Ticket is dispatched to the Customer via email shortly after purchase has completed. In the event that payment is made fraudulently using a lost/stolen credit/debit card or the credit/debit card is used without the permission of the card owner, WeTelWorld reserves the right to cancel such Tickets purchased without refund to the fraudulent purchaser.

9.It is the Customer’s responsibility to check whether there are any restrictions placed on entry to the Event, such as age restrictions or dress code restrictions, before purchasing a Ticket from the Website.

10.If a Customer is ejected from an Event by the Promoter, its agents, or by the venue management or security then the Customer shall not be entitled a refund under any circumstances.

11.Many venues operate a strict “no re-entry” policy, meaning that if the Customer leaves the venue during the Event they will not be permitted back into the venue using their original Ticket. It is the responsibility of the Customer to familiarize themselves with the re-entry policy of the Event prior to entering. No refunds will be issued to Customers who leave a venue during an Event and are refused re-admission because of the no re-entry policy.

12.The venue management or the Promoter may restrict what items are brought into the Event, including but not limited to food, beverages, cameras, video and audio recording equipment, seating, selfie sticks, and items considered unlawful, hazardous, dangerous or potential weapons. WeTelWorld will not be held liable and will not refund the Ticket purchase if entry to the Event is declined or a Customer is ejected by the Promoter or venue management for bringing, or attempting to bring, a restricted item into the venue. Furthermore WeTelWorld accepts no responsibility or liability for items confiscated by the Promoter or venue management.

13.It is the Customer’s responsibility to attend the event at the correct time on the correct date. It is the Customer’s responsibility to check that the Event is due to take place on the original published date and at the original published time. WeTelWorld accepts no responsibility or liability for any loss, whether actual or implied, due to the Customer failing to check the date and time of the Event prior to travelling to the Event. In the event an Event is cancelled or postponed, then WeTelWorld may offer a refund to the Customer subject to the Refunds Policy detailed below.

14.Failure on the part of the Customer to attend an Event for any reason will not be a reason for issuing a refund.

15.It is the responsibility of the Customer to attend the Event on time. Some venues and Promoters will refuse entry to latecomers. No refunds will be issued to latecomers.

16.Many Events will have a “last admission” time, meaning the latest time a Customer can enter the Event. The last admission time is generally earlier than the end time of the Event. It is the responsibility of the Customer to ascertain the last admission time. If a Customer is refused entry for an Event because they arrive at the Event after the last admission time WeTelWorld will not issue a refund.

17.Any breach committed by the Customer under the terms and conditions herein set forth, the Company has the right to terminate, cancel, or suspend the Ticket resale, reject any refund or resale request, and reserve the right to seek judicial or quasi-judicial relief against the breach committed by the Customer.
